Behavioral Health Technician

Responsibilities

  • Provide safe verbal de-escalation or physical intervention techniques with upset teens as they arise
  • Serve as a positive role model and enforce a supportive atmosphere
  • Communicate important observations and updates to the Program Director
  • With an empathetic heart, encourage teen engagement in activities of daily living (ADLs) and coping skill applications

Qualifications

  • Age: 21+ years of age or older
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent, or G.E.D.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience working in Human Services, or minimum of 1 year of experience working with adolescent populations, preferred
