Position Summary
This is a behavioral health position. The Behavioral Health Worker (BHW) works closely with the Mental Health Professional and BHW counterpart to provide direct treatment services to children, adolescents, and families.
Qualifications
Education/Experience
- A bachelor's degree in a Human Services field with 2 years of paid experience in a clinical setting.
- In lieu of the 4-year degree requirement, may include students pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Social Work (BSW) who are in their senior year, have completed at least 30 credits in social work-required courses, and have completed short field experiences (requirements for the BSW degree) at the time of hire. The required 450-hour internship that counts for course credit may be completed during their employment a CSBBH provider.
Certifications, Licenses & Other Requirements
- Possess a current and valid driver's license issued by your state of residence and be able to operate an agency and/or personal vehicle safely during various weather patterns whether it be daytime or nighttime.
- Be at least 21 years of age and have a driving record that meets the requirements of the DCI Vehicle Fleet Policy.
- Have reliable transportation, as the job requires use of employee's personal vehicle.
