About the role
We are seeking a Behavioral Health Technician to support individuals facing behavioral health challenges, promoting stability and well-being through compassionate care.
Responsibilities
- ensuring resident safety and well-being
- preparing and serving meals according to the facility menu
- completing assigned chores
- treating residents with dignity and respect
- supervising medication procedures and ensuring proper documentation
- maintaining daily chart records
- adhering to policies and procedures
Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- valid Texas driver’s license
- preferably additional certification in behavioral health
- experience in mental health or social services is advantageous
Skills
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to stay calm under pressure
- empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help
- knowledge of behavioral health practices, safety, and crisis intervention
- compassionate, patient-centered approach
