Behavioral Health Technician

Works closely with clients and medical staff, providing assistance in medication observation, medical appointment scheduling, and overall client health support.

Responsibilities

• Observe and chart patient behavior and progress
• Collect lab samples and prepare medical data for clinical staff
• Provide education on prescriptions and medication management
• Conduct client rounds and monitor detox medications
• Uphold ethical standards and facility policies
• Maintain accurate documentation

Requirements

• Valid California driver’s license and liability insurance
• Adequate vision, hearing, manual dexterity, and hand-eye coordination
• Ability to lift and move 25 lbs
• Ability to sit at a desk, use a keyboard, and write as necessary
• Ability to move about the facility to observe clients and staff
• One year of experience in a residential healthcare facility, behavioral health, mental health, hospital, or related field
