The Role
Affords assistance with activities of daily living (ADL) and routine tasks.
Provides direct patient care and therapeutic interventions.
Monitors and documents patient behaviors and activities accurately.
Communicates changes in patient conditions to relevant personnel and recommends necessary adjustments to the treatment plan.
Maintains therapeutic relationships with assigned patients.
Collaborates with patients, family members, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Understanding of health care industry practices and regulations.
- Ability to interpret and apply medical instructions from physicians and other personnel.
- Proficiency in using computer systems to manage patient records.
Education
- [Preferred] High School Grad or Equivalent
- [Required] Technical/Vocational School in a Social Science Field
Work Experience
- Experience in other health care-related fields preferred.
Licenses and Certifications
- Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS)
- Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA)
- NonViolent Crisis Intervention Program
