Responsibilities
- Provide direct behavioral health patient care.
- Assist patients with performing activities of daily living.
- Provide or assist with providing direct patient care, diagnostic procedures and therapeutic interventions.
- Observe and record patient behavior and activities. Report any changes in condition and suggest modifications to the treatment plan.
- Establish a therapeutic relationship with assigned patients.
Requirements
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Certification specializing in Crisis Prevention preferred.
- Nurse Aide credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing preferred.
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology or similar area of study.
- 2 years of experience in a psychiatric setting.

Schedule
- Full-time, days: 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.
- Every third weekend and holiday rotation.
