Behavioral Health Technician ABA

About the role

Hiring for the 2026-2027 school year. Provide one-to-one services to children and adolescents aged 2-24 with emotional and/or behavioral disturbances. Work under the Behavioral Consultant's guidance to improve independent functioning and provide behavioral and treatment interventions.

Responsibilities

• Aid in improving independent, age-appropriate functioning to levels requiring less or no service intervention.
• Travel to clients' home/school/service location daily, following the prescribed treatment plan.
• Aid in setting boundaries with clients and their families to prevent dependency on your services.
• Provide support to parents and adult professionals.
• Educate and train parents/young adults in utilizing these skills, providing positive reinforcement, and providing culturally aware and competent service provision.

Requirements

• As a Behavioral Health Technician, hold a Certified asBCaBA, RBT, or BCAT certification.
• Have 2 years of prior Behavior Health Certification or Behavior Analysis Certification from an NC-CAs accredited organization.
• Hold a High School diploma or equivalent and complete the 40hr RBT Training (RBT Task List) Certification within the first 10 days of hire.
• Have at least 2 years of experience providing Behavioral Health services.
