About the role

Pyramid Healthcare at Silver Ridge is seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated individuals to join our team as Full-Time Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) on 2nd shift. As a BHT, you will play an important role in creating a safe, structured, and supportive environment for individuals receiving treatment for substance use and behavioral health challenges. You’ll work closely with nursing, counseling, and clinical staff to support clients throughout their treatment and recovery journey. Responsibilities

  • Client Care & Support
    • Provide respectful, compassionate, and supportive interactions with clients
    • Assist with client admissions, intakes, and orientation
    • Monitor client behavior, safety, and overall well-being throughout the shift
    • Encourage participation in treatment programming and daily activities
    • Promote a structured, recovery-focused environment
  • Safety & Supervision
    • Maintain a safe, secure, and therapeutic environment
    • Conduct routine client observations and safety checks
    • Assist with medication lines and communicate concerns to nursing staff
    • Perform client and belongings searches according to facility policies
    • Respond calmly and appropriately to emergencies and behavioral health crises
    • Use approved de-escalation techniques when needed
  • Documentation & Communication
    • Complete accurate documentation, shift reports, and communication logs
    • Report client concerns, incidents, and behavioral changes to the treatment team
    • Communicate effectively with counselors, nurses, and other clinical staff
    • Support continuity of care by sharing important client updates with the appropriate team members
  • Facility Support
    • Assist with housekeeping and maintaining clean, organized common areas
    • Stock supplies and help maintain an orderly treatment environment
    • Support the onboarding and training of new Behavioral Health Technicians as needed
    • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Compassionate and dependable approach to working with individuals in treatment

Qualifications

  • Preferred
    • Experience in behavioral health, mental health, substance use treatment, healthcare, residential treatment, or human services
    • Previous experience working in a residential or inpatient setting
  • No behavioral health experience? No problem! We welcome entry-level candidates who are passionate about helping others and eager to build a career in behavioral healthcare. Paid training is provided.

Pay

$17.00–$18.50 per hour + applicable shift differentials

Schedule

Full-Time | 2nd Shift | 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
