Behavioral Health Tech - First Shift

About the role

ReMed, a Collage Rehabilitation Partner, is a growing organization dedicated to providing exceptional neurological rehabilitation to adults with brain injury. For more than 35 years, we have developed programs to meet the diverse needs of clients with moderate to severe traumatic and acquired brain injuries. We provide treatment for post-concussion syndrome, stroke, memory loss, neurobehavioral issues, and accident or sports-related head injuries.

Schedule

Full-Time, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Implements facility-wide behavioral training as well as individual behavioral protocols, completing the necessary documentation
• Models appropriate behavior, provides positive reinforcement and corrective feedback on a daily basis
• Assists residents in ADLs (Activities of Daily Living including bathing, transfers, toileting, and physical assistance)
• Assists and participates in physical, vocational, and recreational activities
• Transports residents to medical appointments, vocational, recreational, and educational activities in the community
• Completes all daily needed documentation (i.e., behavioral data, token exchange, shift summaries, house charts, checklists, medication administration records, and incident reports)
• Completes all housekeeping chores (i.e., laundry, vacuuming, dusting, etc.)

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have a valid driver's license and maintain responsible driving behaviors
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
