About the role
Operation PAR, Inc. is a non-profit organization offering the full continuum of services for individuals with substance use and/or mental health disorders. PAR has been providing comprehensive behavioral health treatment in west Florida since 1970 through advocacy, education, clinical services, and research.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct supervision of clients and responsibility for the health, safety and security of clients assigned
- Transport clients in approved agency vehicles
- Under appropriate supervision, provide information and education to clients in a group setting
Requirements
- High School Diploma / GED required
- One year of experience working in the field of behavioral health preferred
- Valid driver's license
- Must pass level II background (https://info.flclearinghouse.com) and drug screen
- Must be cleared by PAR auto insurance carrier to operate PAR vehicles
- Must maintain a driving record that meets agency insurance standards
- Successful completion of a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review is required prior to final employment approval
- Must maintain current training as required by Operation PAR, Inc. policies
Special requirements
- Ability to write accurately and legibly
- Moderate proficiency in the use of Microsoft Windows-based computers
- Able to accurately type at least 40 words per minute
- Able to sit at a desk and view a display screen for extended periods of time
- Able to bend, stoop, and reach
- Able to sit in meetings for extended periods of time
- Able to move throughout program facilities both indoors and outdoors
- Able to lift and carry 10 pounds
- Good hearing and vision

- Ability to sit in meetings for extended periods of time
