About the role

Operation PAR, Inc. is a non-profit organization offering the full continuum of services for individuals with substance use and/or mental health disorders. PAR has been providing comprehensive behavioral health treatment in west Florida since 1970 through advocacy, education, clinical services, and research.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct supervision of clients and responsibility for the health, safety and security of clients assigned
  • Transport clients in approved agency vehicles
  • Under appropriate supervision, provide information and education to clients in a group setting

Requirements

  • High School Diploma / GED required
  • One year of experience working in the field of behavioral health preferred
  • Valid driver's license
  • Must pass level II background (https://info.flclearinghouse.com) and drug screen
  • Must be cleared by PAR auto insurance carrier to operate PAR vehicles
  • Must maintain a driving record that meets agency insurance standards
  • Successful completion of a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review is required prior to final employment approval
  • Must maintain current training as required by Operation PAR, Inc. policies

Special requirements

  • Ability to write accurately and legibly
  • Moderate proficiency in the use of Microsoft Windows-based computers
  • Able to accurately type at least 40 words per minute
  • Able to sit at a desk and view a display screen for extended periods of time
  • Able to bend, stoop, and reach
  • Able to sit in meetings for extended periods of time
  • Able to move throughout program facilities both indoors and outdoors
  • Able to lift and carry 10 pounds
  • Good hearing and vision

Essential physical/technical skills

  • Ability to sit in meetings for extended periods of time
