Behavioral Health Tech - Daytime - PRN

For over 60 years, Calvary Healing Center has provided a full continuum of care, specializing in addiction treatment for adults across the Phoenix area and nationwide. Calvary’s proven treatment programs address the practical, physical, and spiritual aspects of addiction for lasting recovery. Our flagship location in Phoenix offers on-site detoxification and inpatient treatment programs, a partial hospitalization program (PHP), and an intensive outpatient program (IOP). We also have a satellite clinic offering Intensive Outpatient Programs in the West Valley region and Metropolitan Phoenix. Through our programs, we offer many other holistic healing and treatment options complementing our services, ranging from yoga, art workshops, and music.

About the Role

This is a PRN (as needed) position with daytime shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. The Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) operates as an active and crucial part of the treatment team, providing continuous patient care, supervision, interaction, and role modeling to patients. The BHT works under the direction of the Milieu Manager, RN Charge Nurse, and Director of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous patient care, supervision, and interaction.
• Serve as a role model for patients within the treatment programs.
• Work collaboratively as part of the treatment team under clinical supervision.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid Driver’s License and ability to pass a 39-month driving report.
• Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Preferred: one year of experience working in a psychiatric or behavioral health inpatient setting.
• Completion of BLS & First Aid Certification within 30 days of hire.
• Completion of Handle With Care Training within 30 days of hire.
