Behavioral Health Tech - Overnights - PRN

Calvary’s proven treatment programs address the practical, physical, and spiritual aspects of addiction for lasting recovery. Our flagship location in Phoenix offers on-site detoxification and residential treatment programs, a partial hospitalization program (PHP), and an intensive outpatient program (IOP). We also have a satellite clinic offering Intensive Outpatient Programs in the West Valley region. Through our programs, we offer many other holistic healing and treatment options complementing our services, ranging from yoga, art workshops, and music.
About the Role
This is a PRN (as needed) position with overnight shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. The Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) operates as an active and crucial part of the treatment team, providing continuous patient care, supervision, interaction, and role modeling to patients. The BHT works under the direction of the Senior Lead Technician, Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON), and Director of Nursing (DON).
Responsibilities
- Provide continuous patient care, supervision, and interaction.
- Serve as a role model for patients within the treatment program.
- Work collaboratively as part of the treatment team under clinical supervision.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Preferred one year of experience working in a psychiatric or behavioral health inpatient setting.
- Valid Fingerprint Clearance Card.
- Possession of a valid Driver’s License and pass a 39-month driving report.
- Completion of BLS & First Aid Certification within 30 days of hire.
- Completion of Verbal De-Escalation Training within 30 days of hire.
