About the Role

The Behavioral health support staff provides direct resident care, providing a safe and therapeutic environment through daily assessments, treatment plan implementation with the provision of individual, and group instruction of activities of daily living skills. Participate in aggressive behavior management appropriate to the population served.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with others in a team setting
• Provide direct resident care, including daily assessments and treatment plan implementation
• Implement individual and group instruction of activities of daily living skills
• Participate in aggressive behavior management appropriate to the population served
• Auditory skills to hear reporting by clients of their problems

Qualifications

• Specialized training and/or experience in dealing with the needs of the patient population served
• Specific age-specific competencies to perform therapeutic interventions
• Valid Indiana Driver's License
• 21+ years old
• High School Diploma or GED
