Behavioral Health Safety Coach Nights
About the role
Fairfax Hospital Medical Campus is looking for a dedicated Behavioral Health Safety Coach to join the team. This role will be full-time night shift (3 x 12-hour shifts, 7:00 pm to 7:00 am). Responsibilities
- Facilitates the debrief of a safety event or safety concern
- Participates in safety meetings and serve on the workplace violence committee
- Educates, trains, and mentors Clinical Technicians and Mental Health Technicians on aspects of safety incident reporting
- Disseminates and delivers safety messaging as appropriate to the organization
- Provides direct care to patients under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse
Qualifications
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent
- Experience: 2 years of relevant clinical work experience
- Certification: Basic Life Support Upon Start from the American Heart Association; Crisis Prevention Institute Within 3 Months

- Psychiatry, Mental Health and Behavioral Health background
