Behavioral Health Quality Coordinator
Job Summary
The Behavioral Health Quality Coordinator at HCA Florida JFK North Hospital participates in performance program evaluation, overseeing Infection Prevention. This role monitors and analyzes improvement project needs, issues, and problems that could impact success. The coordinator acts as the organizational expert in team efficiency, problem identification, problem solving, improvement measurement, and tracking.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare related field, required
- Master’s degree preferred
- Experience and/or knowledge of behavioral health quality measures and patient safety
- Minimum of 3 years of health care clinical experience, required
- Minimum of 2 years in quality management, required
- Licensure (Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, or Clinical Social Worker) or certification in field required
- CPR, facility approved de-escalation training within 30 days of hire
- Working knowledge of collection of healthcare data and performance improvement tools and methodology
