About the role
CommuniCare+OLE is an integrated health center offering comprehensive care, including behavioral health services, across Napa, Solano, and Yolo Counties. The organization is committed to providing care regardless of insurance or ability to pay.
Responsibilities
- Prioritizes, schedules, and conducts brief evidence-based therapy for patients/clients with mild to moderate behavioral health symptoms and health behavior issues
- Affords assessments, referrals, and advocacy when necessary, for services outside of the brief therapy model of care
- Provides crisis intervention and brief warm handoffs as needed
- Communicates and collaborates with community partners, and provides consultation to primary care staff and providers on behavioral health issues
- Attends and presents at group and individual supervision, and reviews consent for treatment for behavioral health therapeutic services or MAT services
- Maintains professional license or associate certificate as per California Board of Behavioral Sciences
Requirements
- Master’s in social work, marriage and family therapy, and/or counseling from an accredited school required
- Current license or associate certificate required
- Experience working in an integrated behavioral health setting providing brief-solution focused services strongly preferred
- Knowledge of the current Diagnostic Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders and ability to accurately use this knowledge to diagnose patients/clients and inform treatment planning strongly preferred
- Knowledge of psychotropic medications and physical health conditions/chronic disease preferred
- Knowledge of crisis intervention, applicable laws and ethical considerations related to patient rights, treatment, safety, and confidentiality required
- Experience providing therapeutic services to people within a wide range of age/life circumstances and behavioral health histories required
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) language preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills required; ability to handle difficult patient situations
- Strong computer skills, electronic health record system preferred
- Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Certified and remains current in CPR

Pay
- ANNUAL SALARY of an ASW/AMFT: $88,275.20 to $97,780.80 (based on 40 hours a week)
- ANNUAL SALARY of an LCSW/LMFT: $112,860.80 to $137,945.60 (based on 40 hours a week)
