About the role

The Behavioral Health Program Manager provides day-to-day operational leadership and program support for behavioral health services. This role is primarily responsible for supporting program structure, workflow, staffing coordination, service delivery expectations, productivity, documentation compliance, and overall program functioning.

Responsibilities

  • Works closely with other paraprofessional and clinical/professional staff to maintain communication and provide feedback, standardize procedures and expedite PCP implementation.
  • Provides administrative supervision to all employees.
  • Affords assistance to the Director in ensuring that whenever necessary the appropriate transition to another level/type of care for the person supported is sought after appropriate staffing with the Clinical Program Manager.
  • Affords leadership to employees by promoting harmony among co-workers and clearly reinforcing company and site office objectives and strategies.
  • Maintains oversight of interventions performed face-to-face outside the facility, and ensures that each person supported receives required number of contacts per service definition.
  • Participates actively in financial maintenance, budget monitoring, and budget creation and plans of corrective action to improve unit performance and meet targets.
  • Affords assistance in the resolution of complaints/issuers and serves as a role model for employees, visitors, the general public, and individuals being served.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree or Higher & 1+ years full-time experience with population served.
  • Licenses, Provisional Licenses, Certificates, Registrations, Permits issued by governing boards regulating human service professions.

Qualifications

  • Human Service Degrees Include: Social Service, Sociology, Psychology, or other Human Service Degrees.
  • Populations Served Include: Mentally Ill-Child, Mentally Ill-Adult, Substance Abuse-Adult, Substance Abuse-Child.

Skills

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
