Behavioral Health Professional, MST

About the Role

Our partner is responsible for developing a collaborative system of care for children, adolescents, and adults with severe mental illness and other serious emotional disturbances, as well as those experiencing a substance use disorder. This position’s actions and work must align with the values and goals, policies and procedures, and meet all documentation standards and regulatory requirements.

Travel can vary from 20% to 100% per day within Dallas, Ellis, Hunt, Kaufman, Navarro, and Rockwall Counties. This role may require the use of a fleet vehicle and/or a personal vehicle for business needs, including field and home visits, offsite meetings, co-located sites, or transporting items. Transport of individuals is only permitted with a company vehicle and management approval.

Responsibilities

• Conduct MST assessments, review referral information, engage key participants, and analyze systemic strengths/weaknesses
• Maintain a caseload of 4–6 families
• Engage caregivers and key participants in change-oriented treatment, addressing barriers to engagement
• Implement the MST Analytic Process: problem conceptualization, treatment planning, intervention implementation, outcomes review, and strategy revision
• Document treatment efforts clearly and concisely, demonstrating compliance with MST Principles
• Collaborate with relevant systems and key participants to maintain treatment alignment
• Provide direct clinical treatment using MST-compatible practices
• Participate in MST training, supervision, consultation, and professional development
• Deliver all services in a person-centered, trauma-informed manner
• Perform duties and projects as assigned or changed to meet business needs

Requirements

• Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related behavioral health field
• Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LPHA) in the state of Texas, RN, LPC, LCSW, or LMFT
• Fluency in English and Spanish is required
• Ability to work on and have knowledge of a PC (personal computer)
• Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with the ability to become familiar with company-specific programs and software

Pay

$65,000 - $75,000 annually based on education, experience, and licensure.
