Behavioral Health Practitioner I
About the role
The Behavioral Health Practitioner II (BHP-II) will conduct comprehensive assessments for autism spectrum disorder and co-occurring conditions (e.g., attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, global developmental delay, intellectual disability). The BHP-II will also provide outpatient behavioral health services to children, adolescents, and their families, while coordinating with other professionals involved in treatment (such as physicians, care coordinators, psychologists, and other service providers) to ensure continuity of care. Additionally, the BHP-II will develop treatment goals and implement either manualized or individualized treatment protocols. Individualized treatment protocols will be developed by the BHP-II. This position will involve clinical supervision of clinical staff and trainees. This position will also aid faculty in scholarly endeavors, such as applied research and grant funded projects.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- Master's degree in a related field (e.g., psychology, social work, counseling).
- Experience in conducting comprehensive assessments for autism spectrum disorder and co-occurring conditions.
- Experience providing outpatient behavioral health services to children, adolescents, and their families.
- Experience coordinating with other professionals involved in treatment.
- Experience developing treatment goals and implementing treatment protocols.
- Experience supervising clinical staff and trainees.
- Experience aiding faculty in scholarly endeavors.
Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a behavioral health practitioner in Nebraska.
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices for autism spectrum disorder and co-occurring conditions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Pay
- $45.00 - $50.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
