Behavioral Health Nurse Clinical Supervisor (RN or LVN)

About the role

As the Clinical Nurse Supervisor, you will provide operational leadership for our nursing department while maintaining a "hands-on" approach as a Registered Nurse. You will partner with the Director of Nursing to ensure the highest standards of patient care, regulatory compliance, and team development.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Leadership: Act as the primary resource for nursing staff, providing coaching, guidance, and real-time support
• Operations & Scheduling: Oversee daily nursing operations, including staffing, scheduling, and workflow management
• Quality & Compliance: Lead chart audits, medication management, and ensure strict adherence to safety and regulatory standards
• Team Development: Spearhead onboarding and training, identifying skill gaps to help your team grow and succeed
• Direct Care: When necessary, perform duties as a Licensed Floor Nurse to ensure continuity of care

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered California Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license
• Minimum of two (2) years of Nursing experience (behavioral health or residential treatment experience is a plus)
• Previous leadership, charge nurse, or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams
• Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) and HIPAA documentation standards

Schedule

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
