Behavioral Health / Mental Health Tech PRN

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate leader to join our team at Center for Behavioral Health Osage Beach. Our mission is to improve behavioral health through collaborative efforts among communities, healthcare providers, and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients with mental health issues, including dietary support, environmental cleanliness, and safety monitoring.
• Support providers in the provision of patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Maintain clean and orderly patient care areas, equipment, and supplies.
• Interact with patients individually and in groups.
• Conduct groups with patients as part of the care process.
• Maintain compliance with staff training and ensure the health and safety of all patients.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is preferred.
• A Basic Life Support (BLS) and Child Passenger Safety Training (CPI) certificate must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
• One year of experience in an acute behavioral health setting is preferred.
• Computer skills are preferred but not required.

• Conduct groups with patients as part of the care process.
• Maintain compliance with staff training and ensure the health and safety of all patients.
