Behavioral Health Intake Coordinator

About the Role

This is a full-time, night-shift position requiring in-person work as an Intake Behavioral Health Coordinator.

Responsibilities

• Conduct behavioral health intake assessments.
• Coordinate patient placement and care plans.
• Document evaluations and support crisis interventions.
• Evaluate illness severity for admissions decisions.
• Review physician orders and perform complex clinical reviews for inpatient and outpatient requests.
• Coordinate staff education on intake processes.
• Ensure evidence-based nursing practices following professional standards and ethical codes.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Physical ability for lifting and movement.
• Valid BLS and RN licenses for respective states.

Qualifications

• Preferred experience in behavioral health or acute care.
• Strong assessment and communication skills.
