Key Responsibilities

• Oversight of referrals and admissions through every step of the intake process
• Respond to phone/email inquiries
• Conduct initial screening of client’s needs and match with appropriate therapist
• Enter intake details into EHR system
• Schedule initial appointment
• Send intake paperwork/links to clients
• Send information to our billing team to verify insurance
• Manage waitlists
• Identify and engage potential referral sources
• Establish and foster positive working relationships
• Attend local events, conferences, and health fairs
• Track referral volume and trends, reporting on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to leadership

Qualifications & Skills

• Previous experience in a mental health setting, medical office, or customer service
• Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) and Microsoft Office/Google Suite
• Strong attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional communication and networking skills with a natural, consultative style
• Ability to act with diplomacy, empathy, and maintain strict patient confidentiality
• Familiarity with HIPAA compliance in marketing materials

Compensation & Hours

• $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
• Initially a part-time, hybrid role
• Flexible schedule, Monday through Friday
• Flexible work from home options available

About the Role

In this unique role, you will help us to pair potential clients with the appropriate clinician, as well as working with local healthcare providers to help them understand our referral process. This part-time role would be a perfect opportunity for a student studying Psychology or Mental Health Counseling!
