About the role

Arlington County DHS is seeking a Behavioral Health Clinician (Resident/Supervisee) to provide crisis intervention services at the Arlington County Detention Facility.

Responsibilities

  • Provide crisis intervention services to detainees
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Participate in on-call rotation to respond to emergencies
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance clinical skills

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Health or related field
  • Current licensure as a Behavioral Health Clinician in Virginia
  • Experience working with individuals in correctional settings
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care principles

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Benefits

  • $2500.00 gross signing bonus at hire
  • $2500.00 gross at the completion of the probationary period

Pay

The pay range for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 annually.

Schedule

The schedule for this role includes regular shifts and an on-call rotation.
