Qualifications
- Masters Degree from an accredited program in Counseling, Social Work, or related field
- Oklahoma license as a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), licensed professional counselor (LPC), or similar credentials
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Strong understanding of diagnostic techniques and treatment therapies related to behavioral health
- Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques
- Experience treating across the life span (children through adult) and substance abuse disorders
- Experience with ICD-10, and CPT coding
- Proficient in computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Valid driver license and insurable
Responsibilities and Duties
- Developing individualized treatment plans based on the specific needs of each client
- Providing counseling sessions to individuals, groups, and families across the lifespan
- Utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and/or other therapeutic approaches to help clients understand and change their behaviors
- Coordinating with other healthcare providers to ensure a comprehensive approach to care
- Monitoring clients’ progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary
- Educating clients and their families about mental health conditions and coping strategies
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records in compliance with confidentiality laws and ethical guidelines
- Working with clients to identify situations or behaviors that interfere with their recovery
- Referring clients to additional resources and services, such as support groups, inpatient treatment facilities, or vocational training programs
- Staying informed about the latest research and developments in behavioral health
