Behavioral Health Consultant (Integrated Care Psychologist)

About the role

The successful candidate will join Emplify Health (Gundersen Region)'s Integrated Care team as a 0.8 - 1.0 FTE Behavioral Health Consultant (BHC) focusing on Pediatrics in La Crosse.

Responsibilities

• Provide integrated behavioral health within a specialty care practice
• Offer flexible, team-oriented, high-energy, and excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Conduct brief, problem-focused, real-time assessments and interventions addressing co-morbid health and mental health problems
• Participate in the development and implementation of BHC-specific clinical protocols and quality improvement initiatives
• May need to provide outreach services as part of their role in the system
• Teach students, residents, fellows, or clinical staff as part of the Medical Education philosophy

Requirements

• PhD or PsyD degree from an accredited program
• Eligibility to obtain a license to practice in the multi-state region with no restrictions or limitations
• Experience working in an integrated primary/specialty care or medical setting preferred, but not required
