Behavioral Health CNA (EVENING SHIFT)

About the role

This position is located on a Behavioral Health/Acute Psych Unit at Masonicare Health Center in Wallingford, CT. It operates on an Evening Shift with 32 hours per week and ends on the workday (EOW).

Responsibilities

• Performs basic nursing care procedures under the direction and supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Auxiliaries in the implementation of the treatment plan designed to meet the appropriate age, needs, and abilities of each resident/patient.
• Assists with meals and nourishments.
• Transfers using proper body mechanics and appropriate assistive devices.
• Ambulates residents/patients.
• Bathes, toilets, and dresses/grooms residents/patients.

Requirements

• Current Connecticut certification as a nurse's aide (C.N.A.)
• CPR certification
