Behavioral Health Clinician II - Primary Care

About the role
Join a multidisciplinary team focused on providing holistic care to pediatric patients by bridging medical and behavioral health care. This part-time (20 hours/week, day shift) position is located at the Watson Health Center Primary Care Practice on the Miles Campus of Lincoln Hospital in Damariscotta. The practice is well-established, offering complete care to pediatric patients and integrating behavioral health into the patient experience.

Responsibilities
- Provide screening, assessments, and focused brief treatment to patients of the practice, including individual, family, and group work.
- Offer curbside consultation to providers and link patients to additional services and supports.
- Participate in population health activities targeting the health and wellbeing of specific groups.
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide direct care through individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
- Provide brief individual therapy, prevention, and educational services in collaboration with primary care physicians, psychiatrists, and other behavioral health providers.
Requirements
- Maine state licensure to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
- Comfortable working with patients ages 3–26 and providing treatment to families.
- Knowledge of and interest in treating substance use disorders is preferred.
- Master’s degree in social work, Clinical Counseling, Addiction Treatment, or related field.
- At least two years of behavioral health experience, including employment as a conditionally licensed clinician.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $34.35 to $46.46 per hour. Compensation for part-time positions is determined on a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
