The role of Behavioral Health Clinician II, working under an independent license, involves providing comprehensive care and support to clients with behavioral health needs. The key responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing direct care through individual, group, and family therapy sessions.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting assessments to understand client needs
  • Developing and implementing individual, group, and family therapy sessions
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic care
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of client progress and treatment plans

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in social work, Clinical Counseling, Addiction Treatment, or related field
  • Licensed LCPC, LCSW, or LMFT from the respective licensing board of the State of Maine
  • At least two years of behavioral health experience including employment as a conditionally licensed clinician

Qualifications

  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of behavioral health disorders
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Passion for helping individuals improve their mental health and well-being
