About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Behavioral Health Clinician to join our newly established CAPS Adolescent Substance Use Disorders treatment team within our CCBHC. In this role you would be providing counseling services (individual and family sessions) to adolescents seeking substance use treatment. We strive to form a positive working relationship that recognizes individual strengths and builds self-awareness. Our programs are based on evidence-based treatments that are client-centered, assisting people wherever they are in their recovery.
Responsibilities
- Conducting assessments
- Developing treatment plans
- Providing direct care through individual, group, and family therapy sessions
- Maintaining clinical records
- Collaborating with community providers
- Participating in team meetings to ensure effective treatment and discharge planning
- Working under direct clinical supervision to work towards independent licensure
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Social Work, Clinical Counseling, Addiction Treatment, or related field
- Licensed/Certified: LMSW-cc, LCPC-c, or LMFT-c from the respective licensing board of the State of Maine Office of Professional and Occupational Regulation (OPOR)
- Behavioral health experience including internship prior to becoming a conditionally licensed clinician
Qualifications
- Level I: LMSW-cc, LCPC-c, or LMFT-c from the respective licensing board of the State of Maine Office of Professional and Occupational Regulation (OPOR)
- Level II: Licensed LCPC, LCSW, or LMFT from the respective licensing board of the State of Maine Office of Professional and Occupational Regulation (OPOR)
- At least two years of behavioral health experience including employment as a conditionally licensed clinician
