Behavioral Health Clinician BHT-BA

About the Role

The Behavioral Health Clinician (BHC) is a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team in CBI Crisis, Inpatient, and Transition Point programs. The BHC coordinates with Patient Care Technicians (PCT), Registered Nurses (RN), and Behavioral Health Medical Providers (BHMP) to ensure a safe environment and that quality care is provided to all presenting for services. The Behavioral Health Clinician completes the behavioral health assessment and service plan for all individuals admitted to their assigned program, documents provided services, and coordinates discharges from CBI programs. The BHC also coordinates care with the family or other significant others.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a field related to Behavioral Health.
• Master’s Degree is preferred but not required.
• Preference given to Master’s Degree in a field related to behavioral health and/or licensure at the associate level with The Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners as a Psychologist, Social Worker, Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Substance Abuse Counselor.
• 1-3 years of full-time healthcare-related work experience where prior experience would provide adequate exposure to both behavioral and medical crisis situations is preferred but not required.
