Behavioral Health Clinician
About the role
The Behavioral Health Clinician (BHC) is a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team in CBI Crisis, Inpatient and Transition Point programs. The BHC coordinates with the Patient Care Technicians (PCT), Registered Nurses (RN), and Behavioral Health Medical Providers (BHMP) to ensure a safe environment and that quality care is provided to all presenting for services.
Responsibilities
- Completes the behavioral health assessment and service plan for all individuals admitted to their assigned program.
- Documents provided services and coordinates discharges from CBI programs.
- Carefully coordinates care with the family or other significant others.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a field related to Behavioral Health.
- Master’s Degree is preferred but not required.
- Master’s Degree in field related to behavioral health and/or has been licensed at the associate level with The Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners as Psychologist, Social worker, Counselor, Marriage and family therapist or Addiction Counselor preferred.
- 1-3 years of full-time Health Care related work experience where his or her prior experience would provide adequate exposure to both behavioral and medical crisis situations preferred.
- Valid identification required.
- Licensure at the associate or independent level with The Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners as Psychologist, Social Worker, Counselor, Marriage and family therapist or Addiction Counselor is preferred.

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
