Behavioral Health Clinic Nurse (LPN)

About the role

This position plays a vital role in supporting patients receiving behavioral health and substance use disorder services by providing direct patient care, coordinating treatment, and partnering closely with providers to improve patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a collaborative environment that integrates medical and behavioral health services.
• Coordinate treatment plans with providers to enhance patient outcomes.
• Build meaningful relationships with patients to support their overall well-being.
• Work alongside providers, nurses, and behavioral health teams in an integrated care model.

Requirements

• Current, unrestricted Kansas Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
• Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Current immunization record meeting ACIP Healthcare Worker recommendations.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to remain calm and effective in fast-paced or emergency situations.

Preferred

• 5 or more years of nursing experience in Family Practice, Behavioral Health, or Substance Use Disorder treatment.
• Experience with medication-assisted treatment (MAT) and behavioral health populations.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish).
