Behavioral Health Associate II
About the role
This position assists members in achieving their goals while living in the community. Additional support includes medication management, housing, vocation, counseling, and advocacy.
Responsibilities
- Achieves member's goals by empowering them and providing vocational support
- Develops and implements activities, programming, and groups
- Facilitates communication and cooperation among agencies
- Coordinates client medication outreach and communication between doctor, client, and pharmacy
- Provides “on-the-spot” support during crises and notifies necessary parties for resolution
- Attends to the safety, health, and well-being of members
- Maintains client records and completes required documentation according to program standards
- Assists clients with accessing and maintaining appropriate housing
- Provides after-hours, “on-call” coverage on a rotational basis based on program needs
Requirements
Graduation from high school or an accredited GED program, at least two (2) years but less than four (4) years of full-time equivalent experience providing direct mental health services, and lived experience is a plus.
Qualifications
Knowledge of mental health services, ability to communicate effectively, and strong interpersonal skills are essential.
Skills
Strong organizational and time management skills, ability to drive a personal or agency vehicle, and proficiency in computer software for data entry and record keeping.

Schedule
Full Time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
