Behavioral Health Assessor

About the role

Conduct comprehensive psychiatric and psychosocial assessments in inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings. Perform risk evaluations, crisis intervention, safety planning, and determine appropriate level-of-care recommendations. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and social workers to ensure coordinated care.

Responsibilities also include thorough documentation, care coordination, referral to community resources, and providing support to families, all within a compassionate, patient-centered, and culturally sensitive approach.

Requirements

• Licensed in behavioral health
• Strong assessment, crisis intervention, and care coordination skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams
• Demonstrated cultural sensitivity in patient care
