Behavioral Health Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA)
About the role
We are seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our team at New Directions Mental Health, a member of Transformations Care Network (TCN). Our collaborative and clinically excellent approach to mental health care values the expertise of our Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants.
Responsibilities
- Provide psychiatric assessment and ongoing psychopharmacological management.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Work as a team with mental health clinicians who are providing psychotherapy services.
- Provide interventional treatments including Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and Spravato.
Requirements
- Licensed and Board Certified in the state where the clinic is located.
- Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with behavioral health experience.
- Psychiatric-Mental Health certification (PMHNP-BC or CAQ-Psych) preferred.
- Experience working in an outpatient setting preferred.
- Experience working with clients across the lifespan preferred.
Qualifications
Our ideal candidate is a licensed and board certified family nurse practitioner or physician assistant with behavioral health experience. A psychiatric-mental health certification (PMHNP-BC or CAQ-Psych) is preferred, but not required. Experience working in an outpatient setting and with clients across the lifespan is also preferred.
Skills
Strong communication skills, ability to work collaboratively, and proficiency in clinical documentation are essential.

Pay
The compensation range for this role is $120,000 – $165,000. Actual compensation may vary based on licensure, experience, market-driven enhancements, and incentive opportunities available for this role.
