Behavioral Health Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA)

About the role

We are seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our team at Lightheart Mental Health, a member of Transformations Care Network (TCN).

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric assessment and ongoing psychopharmacological management.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Work as a team with mental health clinicians who are providing psychotherapy services.
• Provide interventional treatments including Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and Spravato.

Requirements

• Licensed and Board Certified in the state where the clinic is located.
• Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with behavioral health experience.
• Psychiatric-Mental Health certification (PMHNP-BC or CAQ-Psych) preferred.
• Experience working in an outpatient setting preferred.
• Experience working with clients across the lifespan preferred.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Nursing or related healthcare field.
• Current license to practice as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• Knowledge of and experience with psychiatric medications and psychopharmacology.
• Experience with evidence-based treatments such as Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and Spravato.

Skills

• Strong clinical skills and ability to assess and manage complex psychiatric cases.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Proficiency in electronic health record systems.

Pay

The compensation range for this role is $130,000 – $175,000. Actual compensation may vary based on licensure, experience, market-driven enhancements, and incentive opportunities available for this role.
