About the role
Part-time with potential to become full-time with benefits within six months. Onsite, serving clients in Merrillville. You will work in a dynamic environment where no day is ever the same, supporting our mission with individuals of all ages to help them achieve new levels of success—from greater independence to meaningful relationships with family and friends.
Work with the individuals we serve and staff to observe, identify, analyze, and document a range of behavior challenges. Conduct functional behavioral assessments, develop and implement behavioral analysis service plans, and create individualized treatment plans to help each person improve. Use training and creativity to address challenging behaviors in home settings, workplaces, and the community. Train team members to reinforce implementation of behavioral plans.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Special Education, Social Services (Preferred); OR Psychology, counseling, or ABA
- One year experience working with special populations in crisis intervention, staff training, and development
- Conduct research in behavior analysis within an applied setting (preferred)
- Board Certification (preferred)
- Valid driver’s license, current registration, and insurance
- Strong self-starter with attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and self-manage
- A reliable, responsible attitude and a compassionate approach

Pay
$27-$28 hourly based on experience
