Behavior Technician (RBT)

About The Role

As a Behavior Technician (RBT), you will provide individualized ABA therapy under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You’ll work closely with clients to implement treatment plans, track progress, and support the development of essential life, communication, and social skills in a structured and encouraging environment.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized ABA treatment plans under BCBA supervision
• Collect and record accurate session data
• Support skill development and behavior-reduction goals
• Maintain professionalism and positive rapport with clients and families
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities related to ABA and special education

Qualifications

• Current RBT Certification (preferred)
• Previous experience working with children or individuals with special needs (preferred)
• Experience with data collection and familiarity with ABA terminology (preferred)
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality practices (required)
• Experience with behavior management strategies and applied behavior analysis techniques (preferred)
• A background in special education, psychology, or a related field (beneficial)

Pay

$28.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule

• Monday through Friday 12:00pm - 5:00pm
• Monday through Friday 3:00pm - 7:00pm

Location

In-person – Ashburn, Purcellville, Virginia
