Behavior Technician or RBT Daytime and after school

Responsibilities

  • Direct Client Support
  • Implement individualized ABA treatment plans created by a BCBA.
  • Teach communication, social, daily living, and play skills.
  • Use reinforcement strategies to increase desired behaviors.
  • Implement behavior-reduction plans to address challenging behaviors.
  • Collect accurate, real-time data on client progress.
  • Prepare materials needed for therapy sessions.
  • Maintain detailed session notes and documentation according to company and insurance standards.
  • Track skill acquisition and behavior trends using data-collection software.
  • Communicate regularly with supervising BCBAs about client progress and challenges.
  • Participate in team meetings, trainings, and supervision sessions.
  • Provide feedback to caregivers when appropriate and under BCBA guidance.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience working with children preferred but not required.
  • Willingness to obtain RBT certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Passion for helping children develop important life skills.
