Behavior Technician - BT - Part-Time

Responsibilities

• Direct Client Support: Deliver ABA therapy in homes, schools, communities, or clinics.
• Teach communication, social, and daily‑living skills.
• Implement individualized treatment plans under BCBA supervision.
• Track Progress & Maintain Quality: Collect, organize, and document session data accurately.
• Collaborate & Communicate: Work closely with BCBAs, team members, and families; participate in team meetings and ongoing training.
• Support Operations: Assist with administrative and clinical support tasks as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Availability during afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable transportation with a valid driver’s license and insurance.
• Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and driving‑record review.
• New Jersey candidates must be at least 21 years old and have a minimum of 1 year experience working with children, in healthcare, or a related field.
• Behavior Technician (BT) specifics: Complete a 40‑hour paid training program over two consecutive weeks (at the same rate of pay), followed by hands‑on supervision, and pass the RBT exam within 45 days (up to 3 weeks total).
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) specifics: Active RBT certification in good standing; 1 week of paid training followed by hands‑on supervision (up to 2 weeks total).
• Training availability (BT/RBT): Must be available Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.

Pay

• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT): Starting rate of $24.60 per hour.
• Behavior Technician (BT): Starting rate of $22.25 per hour.
• Final compensation determined by experience, training, and education.

Schedule

• Monday‑Friday: 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM
• Saturday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Training availability: Monday‑Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
