Behavior Technician (BT)

About the role

Imagination ABA Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician (BT or RBT) to join our team in Clinton, New Jersey. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to provide high-quality, individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy services to children and families affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder and related developmental needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy sessions to clients in their natural environments, such as homes, schools, and communities
• Collect and record data on client behavior and progress, using standardized assessment tools and strategies
• Implement treatment plans designed by BCBAs, including skill-building activities, social skills training, and behavioral interventions
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, families, and other professionals to ensure effective collaboration and communication
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge

Requirements

• RBT certification preferred but not required
• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or associate's degree preferred
• Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and/or related developmental needs
• Strong communication, observation, and data collection skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Flexibility to work part-time hours, including evenings and weekends
