About the role
Healing Haven is a state-of-the-art behavioral clinic supporting children with autism and their families. Our Madison Heights campus has four clinics designed to meet the needs of children and young adults at every stage of life. We focus on the whole family, often including siblings and parents in therapy. Services include 1:1 ABA Therapy, Parent Training Programs, Speech & Occupational Therapy, Counseling, and Autism Testing & Assessments.
Responsibilities
- Implement individualized behavior analysis programming during one-on-one (1:1) therapy sessions and, when clinically appropriate, two-on-one (2:1) therapy sessions as set forth by a BCBA
- Teach communication, social, motor, play, and daily living (ADL) skills
- Maintain a structured, engaging therapy environment
- Build strong, professional relationships with clients and families
- Collect data and document progress
- Collaborate with Speech and Occupational Therapy teams
- Maintain RBT certification and QBS Safety-Care training
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, not required
- Professional references
- Reliable transportation and clean criminal history
- Ability to walk, run, lift, squat, bend, and push/pull up to 30 lbs as needed
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
Pay
$17–$25 per hour; technicians with 1+ year of experience and active RBT certification start at $20/hour.
