Behavior Technician - ABA

About the Role

The position involves providing in-home ABA therapy to children and young adults diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Working closely with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), the therapist implements individualized behavior reduction and skill acquisition plans, ensuring a safe and positive environment during sessions. The role emphasizes making a meaningful impact on clients' development and fostering positive behavior change.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized treatment plans under supervision
• Deliver 1-on-1 in-home ABA therapy sessions
• Monitor and report client progress through data collection
• Ensure client safety and positive environment during sessions
• Collaborate with BCBA for supervision and skill development

Requirements

• 1+ year experience in ABA therapy or related settings
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification or willingness to obtain within 3 weeks
• Completion of the 40-hour RBT course or willingness to take it
• Effective communication in English
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and rapport-building skills
• Ability to work flexibly and handle confidential information
• Experience working with children or adolescents with autism and developmental disabilities (2+ years preferred)
