Requirements The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: Bachelor's degree or Master's degree2+ years’ experience with developing and implementing Behavior Support Plans under the supervision of an individual with a Master’s Degree in Human Services, Education, Psychology, Social Work, or Special EducationDemonstrated ability to support individuals with behavioral challengesDemonstrated ability to write and edit plans that incorporate Positive Behavior SupportsCompetency in writing supports plans and effective verbal communication skillsCapacity to train and mentor others requiredAbility to perform duties with limited supervisionExperience working with adults with IDD and with mental health diagnosis or autism Behavior Support Professional Are you looking for an opportunity to advance your career while working with an extraordinary team? At Merakey, we put heart and soul into everything we do. Compensation: $27.00 an hour Shift: 2nd Shift, no weekends, 2-8pm, Tues Wed Thurs and Friday. We are seeking Behavior Support Professional to join our Marlton, NJ team! Completes observations in various settings and conducts comprehensive Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA) of presenting issues from aggression, self-injurious behavior, adverse mental health symptoms, law offending behavior- sexual or other identified presenting issues Collaborates with the person, their family and team in the development and maintenance of a behavior support plan.Trains and mentors the persons support team on how to implement plans.Completes documentation including but not limited to data collection, progress reporting, development and revision of the Behavior Support Plan (BSP)Provides timely documentation, per policy, including but not limited to data collection, progress reporting, development and revision of the BSP.
