Behavior Support Manager

Description Community Options, Inc. is a national non-profit agency providing services to individuals with disabilities in 11 states. We are now seeking a Behavior Support Manager in Washington, PA. The Behavior Support Manager uses best practices and technologies within a community setting to assist individuals with acquiring, retaining, improving and generalizing the behavioral, self-help, socialization, relational, and communication skills needed to enhance relationships, and increase independence and functioning. This role be overseeing Butler, Indiana, and Washington regions. Starting pay is $70,000/ per year Responsibilities Implement behavioral support interventions and activities based on individual needs and ongoing assessment; frequency and duration may decrease or vary throughout the stayProvide Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) – Functional Behavioral Assessment and development of a Behavioral Support PlanSupervise RBT/Behavior Support Specialist staff as neededImplement the individualized Behavior Support PlanProvide Positive Behavioral SupportsProvide coordinated support with program staff and participate as part of the clinical teamAdditional responsibilities as assignedEmployee must cooperate with the license and department staff in any inspection, inquiry, or investigation Minimum Requirements Master’s level Board Certified Behavioral Analyst or sitting for the exam within 6 monthsAbility to establish a comfortable and supportive relationship with individuals receiving supportsAbility to exercise good judgment and remain calm in crisis situationsValid driver’s license with satisfactory driving recordAbility to establish a comfortable and supportive relationship with the youth and their familiesEmployment is contingent upon successful completion of checks of criminal background, central registry, child abuse registry, and drug testing Why Community Options?
