Behavior Support Coordinator

Job Summary

The Behavior Support Specialist will work closely with clients, families, staff, and interdisciplinary teams to develop effective behavior support strategies and ensure high-quality care. Compensation

$22 to $25 per hour. Job Type: Direct Hire.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior support plans based on client needs, goals, and person-centered service principles.
• Advocate for clients to ensure services promote dignity, independence, safety, and quality of life.
• Provide training, coaching, and guidance to staff on behavior support strategies, documentation, and crisis response.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, families, caregivers, and community providers to coordinate effective support.
• Respond to crisis situations professionally and use appropriate de-escalation and intervention techniques.
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, behavior data, and related records in accordance with care standards.
