About the role
Serve as a key member of the interdisciplinary team providing direct services including crisis support and behavior triage.
Responsibilities
- Train direct care staff as needed
- Collaborate with families, educators, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure consistent practice across settings
- Serve as a liaison between YMCA programs and school-based and other teams working with children and families
- Work in collaboration with YMCA social workers and SEL team to support program goals
- Collect, analyze, and report behavioral data to inform interventions and program decisions
- Maintain compliance with ethical guidelines and YMCA policies
- Attend team meetings, trainings, and family consultations as scheduled
- Provide consultation and coaching to program staff on implementing behavior strategies and supports
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field
- BCBA preferred but not required
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience working with children and youth with developmental, behavioral, or learning differences
- Knowledge of ABA principles, positive behavior supports, and inclusive practices
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based, child-centered environment
- Must pass EEC background checks and meet YMCA child protection standards
- Experience working with trauma-informed practices
Hours
Part-time (approx. 10–15 hours/week)
