Responsibilities

As a Behavioral Specialist, you will serve on a clinical interdisciplinary team to represent and advocate for each participant's behavioral health needs. You will:

• Conduct thorough behavioral health assessments.
• Develop care plans.
• Provide counseling, symptom management, crisis intervention, and arrange necessary services.
• Apply appropriate safety precautions and procedures in behavioral interventions.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and residents.
• Ensure compliance with care plans and regulations through strong reporting skills.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience working with individuals in a healthcare or behavioral health setting.
• Strong communication skills.
• Knowledge and ability to apply appropriate safety precautions and procedures in behavioral interventions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) environment.
• Additional certifications in behavioral health or therapeutic interventions.

Pay

$17 per hour
