About the role
- Participate in the development and implementation of Behavior Support Plans
- Collect and analyze data on the effectiveness of Behavior Support Plans
- Adjust or revise support strategies as needed
- Monitor and train staff and caregivers on implementation strategies
- Submit required documentation to Behavior Consultants
- Travel as needed (20–50 mile radius)
Requirements
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience supporting individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to travel a 20–50 mile radius
- Availability to work day and weekend shifts
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to identify, develop, and execute effective training methods
- Compliance with state background check requirements
